“We”? 🤐

Sold their souls for a Super Bowl title but the young skill players do provide some hope.

But how much longer will Stafford play? ‘Cause obviously the QBs they currently have, don’t cut it.

AFC has 11 teams over .500.
NFC has 5.

Philly having a rough stretch.
Dallas looks the best they have looked in………………..20 years???
Playoff chase gonna be fun.
Probably 6-8 important games every weekend until the playoffs.

When you are WR, with a clear view of the football, you should never be offside.

Andy Reid. Moahomes. He was offsides. STFU.

To me, Toney definitely f’d up. Him and him alone. Not only ‘cause he lined up offsides but also because he didn’t check with the head linesman / line judge to make sure he was onside. It’s normal to do that pre-snap and since he didn’t, it’s not up to the HL / LJ to tell him to move back.

I also think the Chiefs miss Eric Bieniemy more than anyone wants to admit.

I really, really dislike the DallASS Cowjerks... but I did need them to beat Philly so the Niners had a shot at the #1 seed.

I feel dirty. Tough spot to be in... sorry Rammie.

The AZ connection for the niners is working well. Purdy to Aiyuk.

There has been plenty of bad calls made by the refs this season……but that wasn’t one of them..

And, Reid and Mahomes crying about it was a bad look.
Just because it didnt “impact the play” don’t mean chit!
And, it wasnt like he was barely in the neutral zone………look at the pic.
Obvious and stupid, noobish play.
Hate to say it but Collinsworth is right. When you pay your quarterback that kind of $$$, you have to “save” somewhere else.
For da Chiefs, its at WR and cornerback……………it may catch up to them.

Still, a crushing loss for the Chiefs.

Speaking of crushing losses…
Eagles go from number 1 seed, to number 5 with Dallas loss………..from hosting every playoff game, to potentially being on the road for every playoff game…
Ouch…

Yeah that was a bad look, they may have still been sore about the no PI call last week. The funny thing to me was watching it sure seemed like KC was really getting the calls going their way.. then in the 4th it seemed to be more even.

Yeah they’ve had to cheap out on WR, RB (young number 10 was a great draft pick) DB and LB….but they have their monsters (Mahomes, Kelce and Jones).

The AFC is a mess, I never would have guessed the teams in Wild Card position and the bubble. If SF doesn’t get key people hurt they sure are looking dangerous….

Agree. And to augment your point about “cheaping out”, there’s a reason why the Packers didn’t resign MVS and the NYG traded Toney. Both players will have great moments but also moments when they literally break your heart. Also, although he may be a young 34, Kelce will, at sometime, start showing his age and his production will not match his pay. The Chiefs are gonna hafta get lucky and find a gem(s) in the draft as their salary cap situation will get only worse.

San Fran seems to have weathered their storm and peaking at the right time. Iffin’ they can avoid the injury bug the rest of the way, I’d put them as the odds-on favorite to make and even win the Super Bowl.

I just saw a clip with Andy Reid and he said that Toney DIDN’T check with the ref so it wasn’t the refs (…but Andy still did whine a bit…).

So I keep hearing this talked about by the "sports commentators" that Brock Purdy is a "system quarterback". They say he just distributes the ball to Christain McCaffery, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle and Brandon Aiyuk...

So then, what the f--k was Joe Montana? He had Roger Craig, Tom Rathman, Brent Jones, John Taylor, Jerry Rice... arguably a much better O-line.. and that defense was killer.

Give the kid the respect he's due for f--k's sake. Anybody gonna tell me Joe's teammates were NOT better than what Purdy has??

But to be fair, there are some sports commentators saying EXACTLY what you are here.
It’s amazing how many QB statistical stats in which Purdy leads the league.
He is simply solid.
Makes few, if any, mental mistakes.
Very few bad throws.
And moves efficiently in the pocket, and has enough physical skills to run a bit when he has to.

Having Shanahan and the bevy of weapons doesn't hurt either.

Good QBs always have notable receivers because they make them shine. When ppl say Montana wouldn't have been as good without Rice, I say Rice wouldn't have been as good without Montana. Them together was a dream team but a superstar QB can get any receiver who doesn't have the dropsies receptions and yardage.
