Goddamnit USPS.

My T52s left Gary again this afternoon, just scanned in at Bedford Park. Again. 4th time. That box has to have picked up a loose sticker barcode from another package.

I checked my informed delivery dashboard. I have 4 packages inbound. Now they ALL say moving through network delivery date unknown.

Starting the day a little earlier today. A round trip of Green Bay to Sheboygan. Round trip estimate of two hours.

Like it.

My body doesn’t like me doing these 2.5 days, but it is only hor four weeks.

Mornin Ya'll... suppose to warm up to almost 60 the next couple days...

I've been rounding up building materials for my woodshop re-roof... So far I've wrapped up $1600.00 in materials I've been purchasing off local Marketplace.
40 sheets of 5/8" OSB at $15.00 a sheet (which after renting a U-haul to haul them home) come up to around $22,00 a sheet where the big box stores cheapest prices were $27.00 a sheet. Still Saved!!!

But really the shingles Owens Corning "Duration" shingles are around $137.00 a square
I picked up 12 square of 3 different color bundles "Durations" for $400.00 and picking up another 7 square with 2 bundles of Ridge and Hip caps for $450.00 Quarry Gray... I already have a box and a half of coil nailes and half a box of #8 pneumatic nails for sheeting, but the drip edge and the Synthetic roof underlayment are costly!!!

Now comes the part of contacting my buddy's for a build brigade. I know a couple guys will show up "Possibly"? I helped them do a couple roof's over the past few years.. but even then not even sure... what I do know around these parts... People get Scarce when theirs work to be done... Almost 60 and all these years of trade labor, seems I've always come up short when it comes to me needing to collect on my side of the Trade... 🤦 🤦 😣 😣 🇨🇮

Oh Well, I'm still on Target to have the woodshop up and operations by April 15th Tax Deadline Day!!!

Your body is going to be very happy about not working nights when you finally get to day shift. Money aside, it is better for you physically and mentally.

If the muh fuggers hadn't switched me back to nights I probably would have worked 2 more years.

My only concern is losing the week on week off schedule I've been blessed with for 8 years. But on the other hand too much time off led to no sense of urgency to complete chores or projects.
