80875 JRE/ Aladino corojo from '20 with thanks to Palama. Cedar and spice, little pepper bite to start. Mellows out after an inch or so to a nice sweet cream with leather and spice. Some of my favorite profiles in a cigar. Thanks again Conan. I did buy a box of these in corona for $4.59per

With the old whatcha smoking thread getting too long for cbid, let's try opening a new one so we don't crash the forum and lose stuff.

I'll start.

80853 Rojas street taco with thanks to jakethesnake. Not bad, pretty typical Connie. Bready, creamy, little spice on the back half. Nice morning smoke.

Maybe should rename it to 100k and then someone can make a new one when we hit 100k.

I think "What'Cha Smok'in Azzhats 1,000,000 Vol II"

It's weird to say "50k " or "100k" when we're counting to a million.

We should do a poll. Unfortunately, I don't have time to make it.

80884 Penn Standard broadleaf colada. I like it. Pennsylvania broadleaf instead of CT but I couldn't tell you any difference. It's pretty standard broadleaf sweet and peppery, nice creamy texture. Construction is perfect, no touchups, firm ash, moderate draw. Halfway a little more of everything it already had. It's good, I'd buy another 10. $3.35per

80885: Varina Farms BKFS blend
Nutty, creamy, mild. I am pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this inexpensive cigar.

I got some of these on a bid I was happy with. Took me several tries to get it. They’ve only been resting for a week. What is your opinion of this blend?

I don't buy the legacy brands unless they're actually from Cuba. There may be some excellent cigars in their portfolio but STG/General/Altadis are just investors looking to make money, not innovative passionate artists. I hate when brands are stolen/bought out and remade with the original branding, it's not just the corporate conglomorates. Cigars is one area in my life where I can vote with my wallet without actually impacting my wallet.
