Race is a social or physical categorization of humans into groups that are generally seen as distinct within a society... used to describe groups with various characteristics, including close kinship relations. Race can also refer to a group of people with a common ancestry who are distinguished from others by physical characteristics, such as hair type, eye and skin color, or stature. Some anthropologists recognize three or four basic races of humans today, which can be further divided into up to 30 subgroups.

Ethnicity is a term that describes a group of people who share cultural, social, or background characteristics. These characteristics can include language, religion, beliefs, values, behaviors, ancestry, food, music, and dress. They are often passed down from one generation to the next and can be related to a shared history or common ancestry.

Kamala is RACIALLY MIXED- Jamaican x Indian. That is her "race." It should be irrelevant to anyone who isn't a bigot like Trump and his Senators those who are refer to her as a "DEI hire."

Her ethnicity is a Black-American. That is who she predominantly identifies with.

You mean she's NOT a DEI hire????

The disconnect between the DEI narrative and the modern cultural reality regarding racism and sexism creates the DEI trap: DEI injects racism and sexism into a culture that rejects racism and sexism, making things worse and hurting those it purports to help.

Joe Biden’s 2020 selection of Kamala Harris as his running mate and his appointment of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court only highlighted the DEI trap.

“I commit that if I’m elected president and I have an opportunity to appoint someone to the courts, I’ll appoint the first black woman to the court,” Biden vowed. “If I’m elected president, my cabinet and my administration will look like the country, and I commit that I will in fact pick a woman to be vice president. There are a number of women who are qualified to be president tomorrow. I would pick a woman to be my vice president.”

He didn’t say he would pick the best person – he said he would pick a woman and that there are a number of women who are “qualified” to be president.

Biden burnished his own “antiracist” credentials at the expense of his choice. He implicitly diminished her, whoever she might have been, in order to prove that he’s neither a racist nor a sexist.

Then, after securing the nomination, Biden chose Sen. Kamala Harris, whose own campaign for president was a surprising disappointment and unambiguous failure. A star in her home state of California, she turned out to be a bust as a national candidate.

Choosing her over Elizabeth Warren or Amy Klobuchar, both of whom performed better in the 2020 primaries, had the perverse effect of highlighting the importance of race and sex in Biden’s selection, further bolstering his image with those in his party who value DEI, at the expense of further diminishing Harris.

Now, the liberal legacy media would have us all make believe that none of this happened – and make believe that Kamala Harris is the next great Democratic Party leader, despite a lackluster record as vice president and without competing against other rising stars in her party.

Now, Harris further diminishes herself as she conducts her own search for a running mate: Democrats have quietly made it known that only white males are under consideration. Really? Kamala, who should not be called a DEI candidate, needs a white guy by her side to win? Is this really where Democrats want to be?

There’s just one problem. The vice president was never in charge of the border. That job belongs to Alejandro Mayorkas, the secretary of homeland security, and to Xavier Becerra, the secretary of health and human services.

Kamala Harris was tasked with working to decrease illegal immigration by working with Central American countries and South American countries where the vast majority of illegal immigrants come from. She has been an absolute success in this role. The present weekly crossing numbers are lower than any week during Trump's presidency. Also there is now a group of border mayor's for Harris. When asked why they said the bill that she put together was the most comprehensive border control in decades and Trump killed it.

Like it or not all of the above is verifiable fact.

Amazing how quickly MSM pivoted regarding her being anointed the border czar since she’s done nothing positive in that role since becoming VP and now they need to help her campaign. Search engines can steer somebody where they want to steer them and try and act like what’s already out there doesn’t exist, but the many many times MSM proudly proclaimed her the border czar and savior can not get erased.

Looks like Kamala’s diplomatic efforts were completely ineffective. Biden took a page out of Trump’s book and got some results though:

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released operational statistics today for June 2024, which show a significant decline in migrant encounters following a Presidential Proclamation announced June 4, 2024, by President Biden to temporarily suspend the entry of certain noncitizens across the southern border. Border Patrol encounters between ports of entry were 29% lower than in May 2024 and were the lowest monthly total for the Border Patrol along the southwest border since January 2021 as well as lower than the number of encounters between ports of entry in June 2019, the last comparable year prior to the pandemic. CBP monthly reporting can be viewed on CBP’s Stats and Summaries webpage.

She keeps changing the rules. Prolly cuz Trump reckt her boss. This isn't just about "hot mics".

Kamala Harris and Donald Trump Tussle Over Muted Microphones at ABC News Debate

The Harris campaign wants both microphones to stay hot, a departure from the rules of Trump vs. Biden in June
As both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump gear up to face off on Sept. 10 in a debate hosted by ABC News, the campaigns are in a disagreement over whether microphones will be muted while the candidate is not speaking, according to multiple media reports.

The first debate of the 2024 presidential cycle, hosted by CNN on June 27, used muted microphones, rules which were mutually agreed upon at the time between President Joe Biden and Trump’s campaign. The Harris campaign is now looking to renegotiate said rules, looking for microphones to be hot during the entire ABC News debate.

“We have told ABC and other networks seeking to host a possible October debate that we believe both candidates’ mics should be live throughout the full broadcast,” Brian Fallon, the Harris campaign’s senior adviser for communications, said in a statement.

“Our understanding is that Trump’s handlers prefer the muted microphone because they don’t think their candidate can act presidential for 90 minutes on his own,” Fallon added. “We suspect Trump’s team has not even told their boss about this dispute because it would be too embarrassing to admit they don’t think he can handle himself against Vice President Harris without the benefit of a mute button.”

According to Politico, Harris’ team believes that by having microphones on at all times, Trump will inevitably lose his cool on national television.

The Trump campaign is pushing back against the strategy, with Jason Miller, senior adviser for Trump telling Politico, “Enough with the games.”

“We accepted the ABC debate under the exact same terms as the CNN debate. The Harris camp, after having already agreed to the CNN rules, asked for a seated debate, with notes, and opening statements. We said no changes to the agreed upon rules,” Miller continued. “If Kamala Harris isn’t smart enough to repeat the messaging points her handlers want her to memorize, that’s their problem. This seems to be a pattern for the Harris campaign. They won’t allow Harris to do interviews, they won’t allow her to do press conferences, and now they want to give her a cheat-sheet for the debate. My guess is that they’re looking for a way to get out of any debate with President Trump.”

Trump, however, seemingly veered off his campaign messaging when asked on Monday whether he would want the microphones to be muted in the upcoming debate, saying “We agreed to the same rules. I don’t know, doesn’t matter to me.”

Fallon replied to the comment saying he “Always suspected it was something his staff wanted, not him personally.”

“With this resolved, everything is now set,” for the September debate, the Harris campaign’s senior communications advisor confirmed on social media.

Trump said unmuting the mics “doesn’t matter to me.” Always suspected it was something his staff wanted, not him personally.

Harris hasn’t been the only candidate to request rules updates since Biden withdrew. Trump has repeatedly called for a revision, specifically including a “full arena audience,” after CNN’s debate had a closed-door policy.

The muted mics wasn't the deterrent they think it was...Trump was reserved and kept his powder dry. He was prepared and it showed. Harris doesn't have anything up her sleeve that Pedo Joe didn't already say or do. She's not that bright and every time she's off script...the REAL her comes shining through.
