Sorry about that Doc - I think that is the single lowest thing I have ever seen someone do on these forums.

That is way wrong.

And if that wasn't shocking enough, I agree with you.

Wow.
I haven't posted much the past couple years, and I haven't even been lurking.
I come on here to see about election tidbits. Always fun.
Until now.

Anthony, I don't know the background to your angst, but that was a total DB move.
I'm far from a newb, but that's the worst I've seen.

And that would have gotten you banned in a monitored time.

During that time you would have gotten messages, and posts like I posted for you (not me)

Man I miss Pacman357 here you might have gotten lucky enough to get chewed out in Shakespearean prose for your transgression. But nope we’re all stuck here in feeling icky.

One thing hasn’t changed, BOTL seeing through BS.

Just to be clear, I agreed with Brewha not you (Abrignac).

Brewha is someone I have had multiple disagreements with and used strong language to tell him off because I didn't like the nature of his posts. I did not threaten him or look into his persona life, much less post it in a forum. I just stopped responding. You (Abrignac) need to get some help and that is not a crack or a personal attack.

Abrignac, I ask that you go back to post #12 and by Edit or Delete remove that link to DMVs personal information. Whatever point you were making, you have made it. That link does not need to be up indefinitely.

JGRAZ, I ask the same thing of you for the quote in post #14.

Gentleman we have all been though trouble in our lives and it is no one else’s business.

“An army marches on its stomach.” That idiom is attributed to Napoleon Bonaparte. A great warrior is useless w/o logistics.

“Chaplain, you’re the most popular man in this headquarters,” said Patton. “You sure stand in good with the Lord and soldiers.” Patton then pinned the Bronze Star on O’Neill’s chest, making him the only man to be awarded a medal in World War II for writing a prayer.“ In moments of stress and existential crisis even the most hardened warriors may need a source of spiritual strength. Religious services often help to unify warriors and give them hope. Many military leaders will tell you that this morale and welfare is absolutely essential.

Those military bands may seem superfluous. The pride and dignity that military and national anthems impart often exceed any pep-talk given by a commander. These service songs instill unity, belonging and perpetuate honor and commitment. Truly, military bands serve a vital function in preserving service culture.

Military Correspondents mark the record. Their reports are eagerly awaited by civilians at home. The Stars and Stripes publication made an important contribution to the unity and morale of American civilians in past wars and conflicts. Military Correspondents also help to preserve a factual record, dispelling the fog of war.

There are less glamorous jobs than being a Navy SEAL but all of those jobs are important parts of a larger machine. General Patton’s tanks were stalled for want of fuel and when the fuel arrived, Patton himself assumed ad hoc duties as a traffic director. Why would a general direct traffic? Such a menial, low skill task? Because it was vitally important in getting the warriors to the enemies.

Anyone involved in supporting these warriors are equally as important. Just ask the Marines how they feel about the embedded Navy Corpsmen. Ask the fighter pilot how he feels about the air traffic control personnel. However, anyone making claims about doing something that they did not do is abject disrespect to everyone who was involved in the operation.

And as always, that’s just my opinion.
