But where was the “will of the people” discovered? At the bottom of an unmanned mystery ballot drop box in Kenosha, Wisconsin? The 2020 version of “Vox Populi, Vox Dei”’ is being deduced simply from the sum total of pieces of paper with a blot near Biden’s name that happened to mysteriously turn up in a government bin or mailing address within a few days after the election.

Jack Smith to leave special counsel post before Trump takes office



Special counsel Jack Smith will reportedly leave his post before President-elect Donald Trump takes office in January.

Sources told Fox News legal correspondent David Spunt that Trump's legal problems were effectively over after winning the presidency for a second time.

"A judge at the end of November has a sentencing scheduled for President-elect Donald Trump on November 26," Spunt reported on Wednesday. "It's pretty obvious that Trump's attorneys will ask for some sort of delay or something, given the fact that he is now the next president of the United States, number 47."

Spunt then moved on to news about Smith.

"Donald Trump said recently that he would fire Jack Smith, quote, within two seconds of taking office," the correspondent explained. "Well, we found out that he may not have that opportunity."

"Fox News is told that Jack Smith will be gone from his post as special counsel, meaning the cases will be gone before Trump takes the oath of office at noon on January 20," he continued. "This is the documents case, though that was dropped already by Judge Aileen Cannon back over the summer, and it's on appeal, but also this case for Trump's alleged efforts to try to overturn the 2020 election.

Spunt noted that an election subversion case against Trump in Georgia also had "many problems."

"So the bottom line for my story to all of you right now, Donald Trump's legal problems have essentially all gone away since he won last night," he concluded.
