Spending a bit of time in AZ. Glad to visit during the only time of year when the weather is exceptional.

Ceded some land a couple days ago. 24 sq rod. Lol That's 0.15 acres or 6,534 sq ft.

A while back my neighbor (68 yrs old) said he thought it was his but he wasn't sure. Wife and I went to the courthouse and checked. Wife found it. The only land sale of this property took place in 1947. The owner of my place, at the time, sold it so they could build a road, (which is still there) to get access to their property. Sold for "Forty dollars cash in hand".

I gave my neighbor a copy of the deed (bill of sale) to keep with his paperwork. You never know, we might join the world again one day, but he got his copy...

He was really happy to get his 0.15 acres. He thanked us. Lol Rural peeps really value their land. Turns out back in 1947 that little piece was sold to the man that married my neighbor and his wife. Then the reverend that married the two of them sold the place, to them, at a later date.

I told my wife, "Now I'm giving out land grants. Told ya I was the King of Hivelyland."😟

I was surprised he was so happy about it- His land went from 33.23 acres to 33.38. I think he liked the story. Brought back memories...

The sale doesn't show up in either of the original deeds, his or ours.

That reverned that married him and his wife sold the land to his parents. Then my neighbor and his wife got it when his parents died.

Got a nail in a tire. My run flats bailed me out again. Unfortunately it is unrepairable. I’m getting new tires for Christmas now! They were due for replacement anyway.
