Intimidating and threatening Jewish students is a 1st amendment protest at a state school?

Asking for a friend.

To develop new technologies in medicine, science, pharmaceuticals and public policy. You know, for example, the new surgical technique that is like 98.2% more effective than the previous technique...

Sure, but they have to accept the, sometimes crazy, strings attached to the funding.

My point was that they'd prolly be better off with less cash and more control of their University.

Intimidation and threatening others is assault. That is a crime.
A First Amendment protest properly planned for is not a crime just because one doesn't like what is said.

Peaceful protests.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

No issues with peaceful. The problem is, they are never peaceful anymore. The bigger problem is... our tax dollars going to schools who have way more money than they need.

^ And this (my edit to MACS quote)

In my little town periodically there are protests or gatherings to protest some Local, State, and Federal policies. The protesters gather in public areas like outside City Hall or around roundabouts/rotaries holding signs. Whether I agree with their stance or not is immaterial. As long as they don't disrupt traffic, block off businesses, homes, cause harm to people or property... I have no issue with it.

I encourage it. I may or may not agree with your position but you have a right to support yours. I have the same right to support mine. If you don't like what the government is doing or a certain business is doing or a certain organization is doing, by all means raise your voice of concerns and draw attention to it. Protest as much as you want it as long as you do so in a peaceful fashion.

For example, when I was in college, a few women were fined because they went topless at a local beach. That led to a protest. Why can men go topless in public and not women? A hundred or so topless women peacefully paraded from campus to the State capital in protest. I supported that protest and cheered them on (while drinking beers on the sidewalk of a bar as they marched by). It didn't change the laws but it was a peaceful protest that many folks supported.

Summer weekend day in Madison, WI. I could study, do laundry... oh wait there's a protest that includes college girls walking around topless? Count me in, the laundry can wait for another day.

Yessir, Buckaroo... Temecula had plenty of protesters. Usually around the duck pond at the intersection of Rancho California Rd and Ynez Rd. Always peaceful... never blocking traffic, but standing on all 4 corners.

Of course... Temecula is predominantly conservative, so... not shocked.

So I'm hearing some of these peaceful protesters supporting Palestinian's (read HAMAS) are not citizens of this country.I have a few questions

1.Not being a citizen but here as a guest do they even have 1st amendment rights?

2. As a guest of this country do you not enter and exit as ordered?

3. If a guest of this country were to be found to be aligned with a terrorist organization would it not be in the best interest of national security to have them removed?

4.If these protest led to personal injury or destruction of property why would we not remove them from the country.

5.Do you agree that if Jewish students fear going to class or work this has been allowed to go too far?

6.Would you join an antisemitic protest?Would you support a protest that is antisemitic in nature?

7.Aren't protesters that are citizens guilty of hate speech/crimes or does this only work in one direction.
