Poll Question: Have We Seen Peak Trump? If Not, When?

The guy is moving and shaking.

The flooding of the zone has the Dems dumbstruck. They were anemic at the speech the other night.

The first visible crack I've noticed is Mike Johnson suggesting Republicans in the House should avoid physically going to Town Halls to face their constituents. As of the moment, only one House Republican (Massey TN) went against the Big Beautiful Bill.

If House Republicans stop showing their faces in front of the people, they might be physically safer but sends the message the president is who they report to- not their voters.

This is the Dems first real chance to grab the narrative, flling the vacuum and running town halls on their own, harnessing their concerns and begin building support with an eye toward the Mids.

Select the answer that meets your guess and why you think it.

Let's try for a Zero Target of personal attack at people (please).

Appreciate the consideration and your thoughts.

Some things badly needed but also badly managed so far.

Stock market tanking and taking personal finances and retirement accounts along for the ride.

Inflation up. Even for gas prices.

Ya don't make a forest healthy again by clear cutting it or burning it down.

Something I liked and knew would happen:

The dems are in a total meltdown disarray. No leadership. No positive messaging. When CBS and CNN polls rate President Trump's address to both the House and the Senate with a high favorability that should tell anyone paying attention that the #RESIST game is officially over. PLEASE, don't stop. PLEASE, continue to do that weird grouptalk thing that only Lefty does repeating the same words hoping them to make sense. PLEASE, Lefty women all wear pink outfits a day after not a single one of you wanted to vote to exclude men from playing in women's sports. PLEASE, hold up your ping pong paddle message boards with Valentine's Day candy dumbass messaging. They couldn't look more desperate, more dumb and more out of touch with America. America sees them for what they are. The mids will be another opportunity to ouster more into the public sector and Lefty gave them all the free political advertising material in one night than 4 years of Pedo Joe and Kumswalla Hairs. When the Pennsylvania Stump is the only sane person Lefty has...sure...can't wait. Add a Cuomo or 2 into an election cycle What could go wrong?

Sincerely doubt that. He's only been in office less than 90 days and very little of his agenda has been passed by House and Senate. He has despots around the world on notice and their free cash spigots have been shut off. He still has more gas in the tank, especially with the last jobs numbers for the private sector. It was always negative or stagnant at best (with 2-3 revisions after the release) with Pedo Joe with government jobs soaring to levels that anyone paying attention knew they weren't doing anything but collecting a check.

I could see where Johnson wants the Democrats to “take advantage” they’re fractured by the sheer numbers of extremists. When Fetterman is your voice of reason, stuff has gone FUBAR.

I’m still patiently awaiting Bondi’s 2A report before I commit to any happiness with Cheeto Jesus.

Don't underestimate the amount and intensity ofindigestion the president is causing them.

Massey, Burchette and the people running on reducing the deficit keep giving him everything he wants, they'll be looking for jobs in less than two years.

Massey is a no vote on the CR so that’s a one vote cushion on that.

Saw an interview last week with Tim Burchett, a Republican from Tennessee. He's been claiming to be a person who has made reducing the debt a high if not the highest priority. Then he caved on the vote.

On an interview on NewsNation, they asked him why he caved.
He was obviosly uncomfortable, stammered and said this was a one time thing and he wouldn't do it again.

Historically, there is always a correction at the mid terms. If the chainsaw/hatchet stroyline continues as is, combined with the likely negative outcomes of tariff wars things will get tricky when Republicans try to get reelected.

The good news is, it isn't worth arguing over. It will happen or it won't.

Wait 20 months and we'll see where we are.

Yes.
Do you beleieve Trump can....
A: Keep all of the House Republicans in line until the mid terms?
B: Think he'd be able to have a majority in the house in 20 months?

Again, not worth my time arguing. We'll set a clock for what the House makeup looks like end of January 2027.

He’s only going to keep them in line if he doesn’t veer too much which he is prone to doing, and the swampy McConnell types don’t get all uppity.

20 months? Seems to be the only hope for the loony D’s is to name call, pretend the election wasn’t a statement on them, and hope scary words they scream get traction.

Are you that optimistic about the Senate in 2026?
13 Democrats will try to hold their seats, vs 22 Republicans.

He's also a bit tardy on ending the war in Ukraine and lowering prices "On Day One".

The Dems lost the election on the economy. Swords cut both ways.
