I was an Officer of a Bank that James Garner and Ricardo Montiban, was on Board of Director's.

Saw Elvis Presley driving his Stuts Bearcat several times on Camdem Street in Beverly Hills.

Had conversation with Buddy Ebsen, (Man named Jed), while waiting for reservation at restuarant in New Port Beach.

Meet Grocho Marxs in elevator leaving work

Dan Fouts was one of my Bank Customers

Had lunch with Merlin Olson, Rosie Greer, Pat Hayden, and James ?? Ram Quarter Back, at Ram's kick off Luncheon. All at my table, was in shock.

Mr. Zulu, of Star Trek, was another regulare Bank client.

Some of the members of Earth, Wind and Fire.

Noah Deitrect?? right hand man for Howard Hughes

Max Bearr, misspelled, Jefthro, he also produced many TV Shows

Several others, right place, right time, in 12 years of commercial banking career, while I lived in California.

Attended Banquet as escort for Peggy Lipton, her small claim to fame, was actress in drama, Room 222, I think.

Peggy Lipton was from the Mod Squad. The qb from the Rams was probably James Harris, one of the first black QB's in the league. He went to Grambling.

Sting, Stewart Copeland, Andy Summers, Elvis Costello, Stevie Nicks, Oingo Boingo, Paul Newman, The Go Go's, Suzanne Somers, Melanie Wilson, Mr. Whipple, Patrick Duffy, Liam Neeson, David Shula, Joe Rose, Tom Seaver, and others. Neat experiences to find that they're just people.

I went to a Dallas vs Greenbay game a long time ago. The FOX crew was on hand. I met all of the guys from the pre-game show in the airport after the game. Met Howie, in the restroom and shook his hand right after he took a leak. He was really nice. Ronnie Lott was very quiet. James Brown was the nicest, he posed for pictures with everyone that asked. Rode on the plane to Chicago with Terry Bradshaw. He signed my Dallas Cowboys hat, I had to talk him into signing it. I asked him how many rings he had thanks to them and he eagery signed it.

They are all HUGE! I felt sorry for Terry crammed into the tiny seat. His knees were at the headrest of the seat in front of him.

Your right, about Peggy, been a long time. I was helping her with a bank transaction, few days later her agent came in and said she wanted me as escort. Got picked up by limo and after event got deliveried home. Initially my ego was getting the best of me, and than let down, all she needed was someone to be polite, etc., lol,. And yup, James Harris, luncheon was first year with Rams for Hayden. Was funny, whenever he was asked a question about the upcoming season, most of the time he deferred to Harris, though I think he already knew he would be taking the starting position. We thought it was classy, he could have acted otherwise. Too bad he really never made it big, but, I guess does alright as a commentator.

Gee Rick, didn't know you were there, or I would have been looking for you too. As you know, Rodeo Drive and Camdem street, V's into Wilshire Blvd., I bet you can even tell me the name of the Bank I worked for and the how the outside appearance of the Bank was unique.

I worked the West Hollywood / Beverly Hills area during my first year on the CHP.
I met some on traffic stops, (I cannot specify whether I wrote them a ticket or arrested them to retain their privacy concerns)
I worked a lot of movie set security and traffic control details.

Traffic Stops: Ed Asner, Lily Tomlin, Sally Kellerman, Gene Simmons, Jack Wagner, Charlene Tilton.

Met on Movie / TV film sets:
William Shatner / Heather Locklear (TJ Hooker)
Mr T (A team)
Arnold Schwartzneger (Terminator 2)
Jamie Lee Curtis (Perfect)
Linda Evans (Dynasty)

Theres a bunch more but my brain is starting to overload.

I'm gonna let you decide who THE most famous person I've ever met was ... among those I've met who I think would have (or had) the greatest world-wide recognition were: Jack Dempsey, John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Richard Nixon and Edward Teller.

Oh, I'm jealous of dhofer because he's met Jennifer Love Hewitt and of Rayder1 because he's met Linda Evans ... and I'm really proud of GYO who recognized and corrected his slip of the tongue ... good job, sir!!

The more I have thought about this, I have met quite a few famous and infamous folks through the years! Dennis Rodman would be my least favorite that Ihave met! He buys cigars at High Times in Costa Mesa, and I have met him there a couple of times! Have also met many pro football and pro baseball players of which Mickey Mantle is my all time favorite, so I would say he is tops of my list of sports people! Once shook hands with Spiro Agnew! Have met Trent Lott, Bob Dole, Thomas Eagleton, and several others from politics!

Joe Montana is one of the nicest people of fame that I have met! BB King is also a great person!

Enough

I met Jay Silverheels (TV's Tonto)in a country cafe in 1958. His Cadillac convertable's hood ornaments were long horns. We didn't see that too much in a lil'o town in Tennessee. I didn't have any paper, so he autographed my science project. LG
