This is without a doubt one of, if not THE most vile concoction my mother ever made me eat as a child(trust me and I was not a picky eater to say the least:0).Yet in just the last couple of weeks or so I find myself craving it big time...LOL

Anybody have a good recipe? I think I'd like one where you baked a little bisquick/? type crust on top.

TIA,JJ

What about liver? The most vile stuff anybody's mother ever made them eat is gotta be liver. It's disgusting--deadly poison. And she's always claim that she fixed it a different way and it's really good and I'd like it this time but it never was and I never did.

Nope I love liver, liver, liver and more liver.

Now boiled hot dogs, there's a dish that'll make ya gag every time.Who TF would boil a hot dog when you could easily pan fry it or grill the damn thing.Shudder!!!

chipped beef on toast (puke) (gag). Nothing like dried heavily salted shredded beef with a nice white chalky gravy made from flour to make a child's day...

TYVVM, to JJohnson and CJBully ....

You two guys have really added to my holiday season !! The two of you have named and described the dinner-time horrors of my childhood ... what are the odds that we three have mothers who were related? At the very least, it's evident that some big-time recipe swapping must've been going on in the pre-Internet years of our youth ...

Oh, and JJ ... if you actually get a "good" recipe for tuna-noodle casserole, let me know, will you? ... I don't mean I actually want the recipe, I'd just be interested to know if one exists anywhere other than in the lost city of Atlantis

'gater ... you might as well go ahead and give it to us ... it doesn't sound too good, but it couldn't possibly be worse than the tuna-noodle casserole or the creamed chip beef of my youth ...
