Flor de Oliva Grand Cameroon Boxed Pressed Churchill:

I revcieved a 5-pack of these. The description is very accurate. If you havent tried one you should. Anyone else try these smokes, and what did you think? I paid only $9.00 for these on auction!!

Description:
The Grand Cameroon is an attractive square-pressed Nicaraguan cigar, and is considered one of the better premium values on the market. Rich, reddish brown Cameroon-seed wrappers and a buttery smooth draw. Hand-rolled in Esteli, Nicaragua.

Mag, I haven't tried the Cameroon, but I am a huge fan of the Oliva Grand Maduro boxed pressed, it is one of my favorites. I have smoked maybe 50 of them and everyone has been extremely tasty! If you get a chance, try the Maduro, they are very inexpensive too.

Mag,

I won a 5-pack of the robustos. In my opinion, they are a very under-rated cigar. I will buy more.

I've been singing the praises of the FDO Grand Cameroon and Maduro for years. You won't find a better inexpensive smoke. They are similar to the CAO L'Anniversaire series(also a favorite) at a fraction of the price.

jcrimmins, ya know. I thought it tasted familiar to something Ive smoked in the past. The CAO L'Anniversaire series you mention is a good comparison.

Mag,

Cherish that victory of $9 for those cigars, as I am sure it will not happen again!! They are wonderful smokes and vastly underrated!

charlie, I think you are correct. Right now I'm at $12 for another 5-pack. At CI they are $15. I wont go higer than $12 on CBid. I bet I get knocked off! Oh well, I'll be out for my deal another day, If I dont win. Patience has always paid off for me.

Mag, personally, I don't mind paying $3 per stick. I actually buy all of my Grand Maduros at the local shop at $3.50 per, and ya know, I still feel like I'm getting a steal. They really are a great smoke for the buck! Have you all tried the 'O' Maduro yet?? Shiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet those kick some butt!!

Joel, I like both, but prefer the kick in the ass of the Oliva O Maduro Robustos!!!@ They are great cigars.

Do you live in California? If so, where in the world are you getting those sticks for 3.50 per?

joelmitre, I think you are right. They definatly are worth MORE than $3.50 a stick. I got lucky again though, and won at $12.00 for a 5-pack. I'm on CBids once a week delivery, so each extra order after the 1st is only $.50 per 5-pack extra! Thats how to save even more.

With the exception of their bundled line of cigars, I think the Oliva family is rolling some of the best sticks on the market these days. The Grand Maduro and Grand Cameroon are two of the most underrated cigars out there IMO. More power to them!

For Decades, The Oliva Family of Tampa, Florida, has been supplying tobacco to many of the world's top makers of premium cigars ... one of the industry's largest tobacco suppliers.

Oliva Tobacco Company provides tobacco to the makers of some of the finest cigar brands in the world--Arturo Fuente, Punch, La Gloria Cubana and El Rey del Mundo .. they all feature Oliva tobacco.

Opus X is made from Cuban-seed Dominican shade wrapper and Cuban-seed Dominican binder and filler grown on the Fuente's land, which is land once owned by the Oliva family. Oliva also grows and sells to the Fuente's the wrapper that is used in the VSG ...
