I'm back ... at least for the time being, but I am still having major problems. USAHOG ... does this sound familiar???

I'm still working on getting the 'tweaks' out of my new ISP, and am not having much luck. It won't connect sometimes --- (and it's supposed to aways be on), I'm getting about 25 viruses a day just surfing my regular sites (I have no idea where they are coming from, thank God for Norton Antivirus), and my computer will just freeze-up and the mouse and keyboard won't work either!

If we can't get this straightened out soon (I have 30 days to cancel), I'm going to try another provider ... and you all know what that means!

Yes it does Slim... hey Bro I lost your Phone # and was going to call ya... been wondering where the H@LL ya been at LoL Now I see... when I went through that with DSL my provider came out and tried to tweek the lines twice.. finally I just scrapped them... I have a radio tower to close to my house and it bleeds over...Sure wish I had it now Drop me an email sometime Bro!!!!

Speaking of virusis ... just now, I got two virus alerts as I was sending the previous post.

It says it's a 32.OPASERV virus and a W32.OPASERV.G.WORM virus that effects my win.ini file.

I run the full system scan at least three times a day, it says they are 'cleaned' up or deleted, but the alerts keep popping up ...

... I'm getting really frustrated.

Some of the other alerts that I keep getting are are for brasil.pif, macro!.scr, instit.bat, among others, but they all seem to be related to the virus I stated above ...

http://www.sarc.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.opaserv.worm.removal.tool.html  and download the opaserv removal tool. Then reboot windows into safe mode (hit F8 as it is rebooting) and run this tool. You probably are not getting the virus over and over again, it's just that your system is already infected and NAV notices it again and again because it has not been able to remove it.

Lenny --- thanks for the great advice, but this is one persistant 'worm' ...

I downloaded and installed the patch, rebooted, then ran the 'fix'. I even ran it several times to make sure ...

... I also ran the the full system scan several times, and it said there were no viruses.

But, as soon as I came to this site and started posting, all the virus warnings I mentioned above came right back!

I just don't get it ...
