Newbie Scum is newbie scum ...

... it doesn't matter how long you have been smoking cigars, but how long you have been on a particular forum. Until you have extablished yourself at any particualr fourm ... that's what you will be called.

It's that way at every cigar forum I have ever been to ... and I doubt that will change.

Call it a right of passage, and don't be offended by the 'newbie scum' remark ... it is a 'term of endearment' that is common at all forums!

Didn't intend to gore anybody's ox. God knows I smoke an occasional dog rocket. They help stretch the good smokes out further.

Welcome Back Slim!!

The term "Newbie" is fine but sometimes people assume the being a newbie to the forum also means that they are a newbie to cigars. That's not always the case. I do see postings where people state that they just started cigars and ask common(dead horse) qusetions. That is understandable because they are trying to build there knowledge.

Here's a new term... "Newbie-Newbie".

How's that for people who are new to forum AND cigar smoking?

Low (aka..newbie scum)

THL - Great post!
I'm a "newbie scum" for this forum and cigars. I've only been smoking for about a year now but this site really helped me find out my taste. I've been sitting back, reading the threads and seeing what other people like and don't like. Then I'll throw out a bid on something I just read about. Hats off to C-Bid and all the "Old Timers" that have helped me find some choice cigars!

Thanks again,
K.C.

I'm confused... who is this "Newbie" guy and why does he need free cigars? I don't think that I have ever seen him post before but from Slim's description he sure sounds like a real jerk...

By the way I have a computer question. I'm still looking for the the "Any Key" on my keyboard...

For all you guys who dont like the "mild ones" or
"dog rockets" feel free to send them to me, you sure dont want them corrupting your "good ones" : )

If you smoke enough of those you get use to them...also helps keep the budget in check .

As a true newbie to this board (I just found out about it at a herf last Friday from Joel and Getyourown), I'd be happy to accept your "bombs". But I'm not a newbie to cigars and cigar related BBs. I used to hang out on the JRBB and now frequent CW and HP. So it would really be unfair to accept your cigars as a "newbie". So your bombings would probably result in retalitory strikes of my own. But that could be fun in it's own right.
