If the Raider's win the Super Bowl and the Raiders fans riot in the streets of Northern California all Raiders fans will be held blamed for all rioting that occurs at every sporting event after it even though this act has been happening in sports now for the last 10 to 12 years, that's the misconception you guys have throughout the league. All of my friends that are Eagles fans get the same BS over here in NJ & PA, they are considered rude, rough, loud & obnoxious..just very hard-core fans. Again good luck to you guys this should be a real good match-up between the Raider offense and the Buccaneer defense. What kind of hype has been going on in the Bay area with the whole Gruden vs. Raider thing?

... he claimed he saw a lot of 'pissed-off' losing team fans that were doing a lot of the damage ... and that makes a heck of a lot more sense to me!

The trash talking has been very minimal. The media seems to want more, but arent getting any. The players I've heard interviewed havent wanted to turn it into a Gruden & Calahan thing. They seem to be focused on the game itself. The fans on our local sports talk radio shows are talking about the coach match up a lot more. Most seem to want to beat Gruden because of how he left the Raiders. He never said goodbye to even one of them!
It should be pretty good. If the Raiders keep the penalties under control, I dont think anyone can beat em!

unfortuanaltely the raiders will win. hahaha im just a east coast pats fan who would like to see the eagles or the buccs even go. but the raiders deserve it they are a better team with some great recievers and one hell of a QB. but mark my words the raiders will win and watch out for the riots. i actaully saw interviews of store owners in san deigo that wont be open because SOME or the fans are so ruthless.

I hope the Raiders win big. I went to a Tampa Bay vs. Green Bay game a few years ago and the Tampa people were very rude. We here in Green Bay treat the opposing fans very well and expect the same when we go to another stadium. Raiders, kick their a$$!

And I'm from So Cal, but have been to many a fricking game at the Coliseum. Liked the boys before they came south, liked 'em here, and liked 'em since they moved back. Best one I saw there was Marinovich's first game, where he came out as a second half sub to lead the Raiders over the Chiefs (back when the KC was a good team). Sat next (actually in the row ahead) to George Brett and Brett Saberhagen. Great time at that game.

Face it gentlemen. The Raiders ain't exactly the toughs they used to be, with a controlled passing offense, and a professional attitude on defense--aside from Romanowski, not too many psychos; just good quality football players they have gelled together at the right time. And what I don't hear from anyone here is what a fan-frigging-tastic second half team these Raiders are. I foresee a fairly low scoring first half, maybe 10-7; and then watch out as the Raiders dominate to three quick scores and bring down the hammer on defense to shut down Tampa Bay to a field goal as their only second half score.

I've heard coaches and football players say that Raider home field is the absolute worst place to play or attend as a fan of the opposing team.

They hurl crap at the players as they come in and out of the tunnels, beat people in the stands for supporting their team... I haven't witnessed it, but I have heard them on sports shows on AM radio talking about it.
