as for slamming it towards the military members the Author of this Line was looking to bleed the hearts of whomever would listen and feel sorry for the Military and be pissed at Bush for it... in the Above it says On Base/Off Base... why? because off base housing members get a bigger take then those who live on base... and any military member will vouch for that happening... and the way I see this is how Bush laid it out... knowing this is what is the guidlines and appropriating the cuts that way....

I have to say, that is a completely incoherent response.

The article makes such a simple point, draws on a simple and indisputable fact, and the extreme lengths and stretches of logic you go to in order to defend Bush pretty much says it all.

Face it, usahog: deep down, Bush couldn't give a **** about working class people, and that includes people on/off military bases. Why this isn't obvious--with all the tax cut b.s. and so on--I will never know.

I'm not claiming that the article is laying out all the details, but from what it says, military children who live off base as well as all the other non-military children who live near installations are going to loose their already miniscule funding. So unless I'm missing something I guess I'm glad to hear that your BLIND devotion to GWB is just that...

And last I heard the military was a federal entity so why should the STATE schools have to suffer and make up for the tax differential caused by the federal level? If the lotteries are forced to make up for it then where will the parks and rec as well as other organizations get there money that they currently recieve from the lotteries?

You can't expect millions of dollars to be cut and not have any adverse effects, this time it happens to be children who can't even fight it...
