Well, I lied. It's not red, I just liked the title. At least it's close.

This is a 67 Vette convertable, 327ci motor, 2 speed powerglide automatic transmission.

We rebuilt the tranny at my shop. Its a beauty, inside & out! Any of you out there Corvette enthusiasts or owners? How about anyone who owned one new?

This car is fun to drive, gets lots of looks. If I were only single again! Hehe!

The 67 is one of my favorites! I like it best in Midnight Blue. I can only hope I find one needing help someday. I will not pay what they bring in good condition. I like the 63 split window too. Nothing like a convertable though. I don't want no hardtop. I don't want no coupe. I want a ragtop, ragtop AUTOMOBILE! (Kentucky Headhunters, Pickin' on Nashville)

I love vets...always have. Unfortunately, I had to turn down a brand new 2002 silver convertible awhile back. I was so upset.

...I've driven the 427 and man what a screamer. The car is beautiful! And, Robby, it's worth a whole helleva lot more than 10K.

Beautiful.

The '67 427 tri-power (435 horse)- one of the most valuable Vettes on the collector market.

I know it probably wasn't as widely available or anywhere near as "civilized" on the street, but I'll take a Ford Cobra 427 roadster anyday over that fabulous machine above. The Cobra roadster was a car on steroids personified! Oh, and in blue; leave the racing stripes off please...

OMG...blood red...who is worthy?

That is one outstanding ride...

Someday, but for now, mine is a 2000 MAGnetic red convertible...and it is awesome!!! But someday...someday.....

Btw, I made roadkill of a Cobra a few weeks back

My ex-father-in-law had one the of the six homologated '63 split window drag specials. He collected cars. It was very rare.

A Ford Lightning will blow away a 2001 Corvette easily. Definitely.

A $11,000 Suzuki GSXR-1000 will get to 100mph and back to 0 before the 2002 Corvette gets to 100mph.

ok, but what happens when a dog runs out in front of you at 100 on a bike?
Not to mention getting to listen to your favorite cd and/or talking to a friend on your cell phone and/or sipping your favorite beverage and/or wearing a tux to the wedding you are on your way to and/or smoking your favorite cigar.......duc, get my point?

Think I'll take the car.
