Hey Guys!

This is a Berretta 92FS. 9mm semi automatic. Basically stock, except for grips(Houge), and night sites.

This was at one time the standard weapon issued to the military. It still may be, but I dont know. I have the 15 rnd magazines. It shoots real nice!

Any other gun enthusiasts out there? I have others guns, I will post one a week. I think I can keep it going for about 2 months.

Next week: Colt King Cobra, 357Mag Stainless!

Hey Mag, this is too much. 1st you post a picture of my dog, now my gun. I have this same pistol, a 92fs. Probably, I've fired 5000 rounds with it and it's never jammed once.

M9 for me! After having a WWI .45 revolver, and then a .45 ACP, I went with what I knew! The wife loves it too. I too have the 15 round clips. Hang on to those!!! Mine was part of a commentorative package that came with a webbelt, a cool buckle, ammo pouches and 2 clips. Haven't changed a thing on it. Why mess with perfection?

Aim big, hit big. Center mass baby!

I'll Stick to the 6 Cylinder Rugger Red Hawk Magnum 44.... less chance of it Jambing up when Needed... along with the Black Talons 250 grain hollow points for the Added knock down power... I don't get to many peeping Toms...

Hog, Cool, Big Bang!

My newest addition is a Ruger .45

The .50 Desert Eagle is fantastic. Hugely Big Bang!

I see where Colt has introduced a .50 Magnum!!!!
I can't wait till our local shooting range gets one in so I can try it:-)

I can shoot and can handle a firearm with respect, but I'm not too up on gun lingo. Dr, what's an M9 and that's 15 rd clips for a 45? Thinking about a home defense weapon and was considering the .45 but was concerned about jammups.

We (my department) were going to go with those a long time ago. found a problem with them. The take down lever is mounted to the side of the slide. Found out that some gangs were practicing on how to grab the gun, pop the lever and take away the top slide and barrel.

Probably not a problem for most shooters, and I have never heard of it actually happening to someone, but that one feature disqualified it from our list.
Personally I really like the gun. Nice shooter and durable as heck.

My choice for 9mm is the Browning High Power, probably the most dependable semi-auto ever made!

JJ

I'm familiar with the Browning. In Guns and Ammo the Barretta shot more rounds than any other without a misfire or jam up. That was probably 5yrs ago when that was done.

I also own a Browning Buckmark target pistol. Browning makes fine guns.

eh3856, Glocks are very dependable also. I heard you can drop one in sand, it can even get inside, and a Glock will still work fine. Just what I read.

RDC, Boy you like the BIG ones! Have you ever held a Desert Eagle in your hand? Its enormous!

Robby, for home defence a shotgun is the way to go. I have a Mossberg. It comes with 3 Barrels. The short barrell with a pistol style grip is my choice. Wide spread, but wont kill your nieghbor by shooting through a wall.

eh3856, didnt notice that you have a PYTHON!! Wow those are the best revolver I know of. Others are measured up against the Python. Very pricey gun, but worth it! I have a shooting buddy who owns one.

JD1...M9 Beretta. 9mm, standard sidearm issue for our military. They were coming in a little before I was going out. Got my hands on one and was hooked. More power(ala Tim Allen)! It's also easier for smaller hands, so that would explain why the wife likes it too. The 15 round clips are for the M9, and not the .45. If you're on the fence about which one to buy, I'd seriously check out a local gun club/indoor firing range. Most have a "rental" counter with a "greatest hits" selection. 44 Mag., Desert Eagle, .357 mag...yada yada yada. Most will have a 9mm and a .45. I would fire both before making a decision. I've owned both, and the M9(especially!)has it ALL over the .45. For what it's worth...the .45 revolver I had had better response and weighed better in my hand than the ACP.

Have fun!

Mag...the Python definatly is in a class by itself. It has got to be the most solid and smoothest firing pistols I have ever shot.I bought it from the original owner who is a buddy that I work with...That is one that for sure will be passed down to my son after I leave this world and smoking cigars with the BIG guy up above.

I like the Colt 1991A1 45, a litle more thump than a 9mm, no need to double tap, one in the center will do it. Never a jam or mecanical problem.
