Folks...Wise up! Blunts are very popular to split, remove much of the interior filling, and replace with "wacky weed," i.e., cannabis. Most folks that like this particular concotion prefer the newer, exotically flavored blunts (mango, passion fruit, guava, etc.) but the purists still enjoy the "pure tobacco"taste of only straight tobacco flavored "blunts." Now I'm not suggesting that this bid has this specific objective in mind; I'm simply aware that the new dawn of "cheap cigar blunt" popularity is being driven by consumer demand for something with more "uumph" than the cigar can deliver alone. On the other hand, Phillies have been around for a long time and still probably have their affectionadoes.

IN a previous post I stated that I smoked different gars before I got into the good stuff. Well here they are the Phillies. Brrrrrr brings back some wild memories Lot of spitting and choking but they are better the Lone wolfs IMHO...LOL. ( Hiding all the lone wolfs he now has)

The Philles Blunt has been long enjoyed by afficianodos with uncomprimising taste. Blunts are known for their flavorfull wrapper, because that is all that is normally used. The short filler of this particular vitola is easy removed and discarded, making it just the treat for the college student who wants to unwind before skipping class.

Now that I think about it, the first cigar I ever smoked (age 14, on a creek bank under a bridge, cane fishing pole in hand, first time I was so sick I wish I COULD die, crawling on hands and knees vomiting)would probably have made a Phillies blunt seem like a Cuban. Called Blue Tip. Non-tobacco ingredients added, such as string, cotton batten, and what appeared to be roofing felt. Always 5 cents. Finally went up to 6 cents (I was aghast) and shortly thereafter disappeared. There have REALLY been some bad cigars out there....
