Forget about republican vs democrat. Forget about liberal vs conservative. Even forget about the recent political platforms during the election. It's time to be counted. Name the THREE THINGS YOU DEEM AS THE COUNTRY'S BIGGEST PROBLEMS.

1. OUT OF CONTROL GOVERNMENT.

2. OUT OF CONTROL TAXATION.

3. WEAK and LACK LUSTER MILITARY FORCES.

But on the good side, GOD answered my prayers and sent GW Bush to save us. Thankyouverymuch.

I'm not gonna think about this too much since it is late, but here it goes:

1. Violence

2. Health Care costs and availability

3. Education

4. International Awareness

1. Responsibility 2. Morality Unclebill took one of my choices so I'll stop here. If people took responsibility for their actions and didn't look for someone else to blame, this country would not be in debters prison from insurance companies. When Children learn Morality from their parents and other true role models, they will grow to be both moral and responsible. You can not legislate morality. You have to teach it by living it. If I have to put a third one down it would be 3. Common sense. Let's face it, the Pledge of Allegience is not offensive. "one nation under God" can mean any god you choose. A nativity scene on a town's common is not offensive. (as long as tax dollars don't put it there). It does not give other bogus religions the "right" to force their own symbols onto the same plot of land (this was an actual incidence in Massachusetts this past season). If you slip on ice outside Walmart it does not mean you can collect $100,000. All of these items may seem absurd, but lawyers take cases like this to court every day. Why can't we start a demerit system whereby lawyers with bogus suits can get three strikes and then they're out? Our forefathers could not have possibly envisioned freedom of speech and expression as meaning government funding of purposely offensive artwork. Freedom of religion does not mean that prison inmates get to worship satan. The right to bear arms does not mean bazookas. Equal treatment does not mean health insurance paying for sex change operations. If we had common sense we would not have the intollerance that drives most of our violence. We're taking two steps backwards for every one forwards.

1. Do nothing politicians(example Mr. Gore ran on almost the same platform that Clinton/Gore ran on in '92-None of the platform ever passed or was enacted! Lets see if GWB can get a few things accomplished! 2. Wasteful Government spending-check out the "pork" that gets enacted in high ranking Senators states(both Democrat and Republican) 3. Weakened Military-You dont have to throw billions at the military to put it back into shape! I pretty much agree with Tailgater, especially about the right to bear arms-you dont need to own machine guns and bazookas to defend your property!
