Ok, I'm still new, so be easy on me, but I'm trying to figure out this practice of hoarding lots. I understand wanting to get as many of your favorite cigars as possible, but why bid on 4 ashtrays? It seems pretty common, so the only thing that makes sense to me is that people are reselling them...

(1) Den
(2) Patio
(3) Garage
(4) Bathroom

God forbid you would give 1 or 2 away as gifts to other cigar lovers....

bathroom... hmmmm... can't imagine taking a shower and smoking a cigar, much less doing my business in there and smoking a cigar either.

You know what's funny? There was a time not too long ago when I would have thought you were kidding.... but now ... it makes sense...

No al'Thor it's because the Folks bidding on them Items are new like yourself and us oldtimers already have a collection of the same "Ahem" Stuff in a Stuff Box in the Attic, Why the Attic do you ask? because we don't want friends and relatives to know we went Nutts and Bid on the "Stuff" so bid your heart out and when your done and you get your "Stuff" You'll see what I'm talkin about... now as far as Ashtrays, A Cigar Smoker can never have enough of them!!! I think I got 4 or 5 or 6 of the Cohiba Ashtrays around my house somewhere's and I know of two of them I keep in the Walk-In untouched... Why? because Cohiba (ISOM, Especially the 1492's) are the Finest Cigars I have ever Smoked!!! IMHO

I too have many Large Ashtrays. Hell, one of my ashtrays, can hold 8churchills, and 10 cigarettes at the same time, while someone else ashes their gar in it without touching any of them. I also have an Ashtray in the bathroom, 2 in my bedroom, 2 in the kitchen, 2 in my home office, 3 in the library, 4 on the back porch, and 1 on the front porch. Oh yeah, 1 each in my workshop and my library. As for lighters, there is my Colibre CEO, I keep on me at all times. I have a large brass tablelighter on the coffee table, and probably 15-20 give or take cheap torches, scattered around the house, in case the CEO is out of fuel. Other stuff, I have a Cbid shirt, CAO Shirt, CAO cap, bunches of matches eat your heart out Robby, 3 otterboxes, and alot of other cbid type stuff.

ashtray in the bathroom..., what more do you need? A good book and a good smoke. Helps with the smell too. LMAO!!!

... you've got to realize it by now folks ... there ARE a lot of retailers that bid here also.

If they can get it cheaper than they can with their wholesale license ... they will do it.
