Before I ask this question I would like to say I checked the "archives" by using the search and I know several people save thier bands, I do as well. I now need some ideas as to what to do with them. I worded it that way because I know the type of answers I will get to that question, from the serious: display them in a jar on the bar, to the smarta$$: stick them on your forehead and use them as the patch. So ALL answers are welcome

I've seen them laminated in table tops, stuck to the wall with pins, a motorcycle helmet covered with them. I just keep mine in a big stemmed bowl by the computer.

Get a piece of oaktag or something and make a collage out of them, then frame it and hang it on the wall. (I'd suggest freezing them before you do this to avoid tobacco beetles forming in your frame) 😉

I have a several different limited edition Jack Daniels bottles (1.75 liter) filled with them, working on using one of the wife's Waterford Bowls, but I don't think that will fly very well. I freeze them of course, to kill the dreaded beetles or is beatles? Charlie

depends if you are talking about bugs, or the yellow submarine beatles.

I save ALL of my bands. I put them in my pocket with every intention to collect them in a bowl or even to create a catalog of sorts to make flavor notes and such. Problem is I tend to leave them in my pockets and my wife has a bad habit of washing my clothes. It's the darndest thing, but the bands don't hold up too well to Tide...

I use those sheets used for photo albums, you know, the ones that have a wax type substance on them and a clear cello (yea...I said CELLO!) that stick to it. Works pretty well until I build my oak framed display case for behind the bar....but first, I have to build my bar 🙂

I had a similar problem once. I needed to build a workbench, but had nothing to build it on!

I use mine to put underneath a antique wooden table with a glass top. Makes a great conversation piece.

Several years ago my youngest daughter made me an album, with the cover artistically labeled "Dad's Cigar Bands". When I get a new one, I add it in.
