I have. Good way to sample lower end cigars in a cost effective way. I would not order another one.

The first sampler I bought was a ten pack I won for $7. It contained several quality cigars including a Partagas 150! The cigars had blemishes but, as advertised, all were smokable. I saved the 150 for my third anniversary. What a treat!

The second sampler was total cr@p. None of the name brands like the first one. In fact, four of the cigars ended up in the compost. Any one who knows me can attest to the fact that I do not throw away anything unless it qualifies as the ultimate dog rocket.

In conclusion, I would have to say the 150 alone was more than worth the cost of both samplers. However, I am so gun shy after the second sampler I am not sure if I want to pull the trigger again.

If you are looking to me for advice, I can only say what do I know? You may end up getting a Don Ramon with a tiny tear in the wrapper.

my experience was also hit or miss. The first one contained a good mix that ranged from lone wolf to one of those Pinar pre-embargo cuban cigars. Most of them were in decent shape but a little roughed up. Some were split open and unsmokeable. The next sampler contained similar sticks but was in a lot worse shape and only about half were smokeable.

If you like a challenge, go ahead and order them. If you want to sit and enjoy a cigar, skip them. They're not worth the aggravation.

I tried one of the 15-count samplers and overall was quite disappointed. Although I very much enjoyed the CAO Brazilia included, almost all of them were no-label brands (a few of which were pretty tasty, to be fair). A few were so damaged (wrappers completely loose, etc.) I just pitched them, and one cello-wrapped cigar I'd never heard of had a beetle hole. So, despite my love of samplers, this one was a let-down, and I don't think I would order another.

I discussed this with Carmen, the inventory manager, and he will make an effort to include more premiums in these samplers. It is based on what is in the damaged bin, or dog-pile as we call; it so sometimes the selection is good, othertimes it's not so good.

Now before I get Slime slapped I have already contacted customer service, but I just want others to be aware.

After reading this post and Mike H's comments. I decided to try one of Carmen's samplers. I totally agree with Gerber. The sticks were mostly low quality sticks that I probably wouldn't buy for the same price if the sticks weren't damaged.

The description says 'Definately smokable, but not saleable'. I would disagree with this description, 5 out of the 10 sticks were damaged beyond smokable.
