We're going to get wet today, I just hope I don't get stuck at work. I'm going to pack a few extra cigars today just in case. The site of last weeks Galveston Herf is under water with tides 5' above normal and rising. Wouldn't you know, my truck is kaput this week so I'm stuck in the low rider in high water, Oh Boy!
Anyone want to go fishing?LOL

We have done much better here in Pearland than was anticipated. There is still more rain in the forcast but the worst seems to be over.
But I was prepared for a bad one. Stocked up on beer and butane just in case.

Well, like Bud said we faired pretty well. No fishing in the front yard or anything like that. We did have one window break at work from flying debris. I guess I shouldn't have thrown that stapler at my boss! DOH!
