Have you thought of a 'Cigar Oasis I' for humidification? It may not be big enough for you, but they do have them at CI ...

Moist-N-Aire Humidifier's are another way to go, and I've heard good thigns about them:

If you have a display case, cabinet or end-table size humidor, the Moist-N-Aire is one of the most economical humidifiers you can purchase.

I am working on a project that may help.
I have an extra refridgerator. I am in the process of lining it with spanish cedar. I will then, fit it with an oasis humidifier, and install a thermostat from a central ac unit, to control the refridgerator.
I am hopeing this will help me get through the long hot Arkansas summers, without the superhigh cooling bills I currently have.
