The comments exspressed about ubid shipping chargesis right on! I even had one dealer send me extra items, because he was embarassed by their charges. However ubid gave him great exsposure.

Negative comments about this vendor seem to be bias and smell not of smoke, but of jealousy. Could it be your a retailer suffering from governmental abuse?

I will not be at U-bid, simply because I don't need more diversions, but when I was there, one could click on the shipping options to get a charge of $4.12 for ground shipping, that doens't seem unreasonable, maybe I am missing something. The one time shipping cost did bother me was on Cigarbid, when they were auctioning off I believe it was 5 packs of 5 Vegas, and for winning five I was charged a ridiculous amount for UPS ground.

I've purchased many different items from ubid. Cigar purchases were the only one's with hidden/outrageous shipping costs. You think you only get price gouged at the gas pumps, buy cigars at ubid and read the small print. You not only get their s/h charge but also that of the vendor.Ethical? NOT.

I see your point, that is why I don't belong to any music clubs or book clubs (book club editions are pathetic anyway, cheap copies of the publisher edition but I digress), it is one of my pet peeves, I cannot stand paying high shipping cost, and especially when you don't know the shipping cost up front.

The next logical choice.
