Has anyone else had the horrible misfortune of getting their package sent by FEDEX ground? What a nightmare!
I don't understand the decision to use them for a few cents less than UPS. Any thoughts?

I would be happy to get deliveries by fedex as UPS always beats the hell out of my deliveries, actually now I pay a bit more and have it shipped by priority insured.

i waited 11 days for fedex to ship my package and they stole a lighter and a 5 pack from the box. disgusting!!!!!!

I like to stick with USPS myself...Less thieves employed there than UPS and Fed Ex 🙂

I always request Priority Mail. I get it at least 2 days sooner than UPS and have never had a theft or any other problem. That IS disturbing to hear that about FedEx.

the USPS aren't all saints and angels, twice in the last two months, I have received book deliveries (I usually receive 5 a week from the post office, rest from UPS or Fedex) that the box was opened and books removed. I ordered a case of a particular title (30 in a case), half were taken out of the box. The time before 11 copies of a particular book were missing.

Most of our arrests come out of the local UPS facility in town...They're a bunch of gangbanging P.O.S. criminals (IMHO of course) 😉

I've always had better luck with USPS than UPS. UPS takes way too long.

Me too...I've only had good luck with the USPS.

Fedex bought up Rps(?) and that part of the company is doing all the ground deliverys.. They sucked before Fedex bought them ,they suck now JMFHO!!LOL!

I agree. I have once a week shipping on Friday and when the packages are shipped using USPS priority i get them on Monday. When they are shipped FedEx ground, I get them on Wednesday night or Thursday morning. I have never had a problem with USPS. Dont know why FedEx ground takes so long to deliver.

I once ordered a Wilson volleyball by Fedex. For some reason it never showed up.
