Ha...I'm having a great day. Watching I Love the 70s and cracking up at everything...very funny. Smoking a Hoyo de Monterrey Double Corona indoors (god bless the wife being out of the house!) and watching the cyber play-by-play of the Red Sox/Yankees game. You a baseball fan? Exciting days...

Not a bad day at all. If I misunderstood the post, Tabasco, sorry. But 'panties in a bunch' is usually a phrase that is making fun of a person, that's all.

I am capable of being in a good mood and arguing with folks!

Panties in a twist wasnt meant to irritate you. It happens to be a common phrase used by my buddies and myself towards each other all the time.

I have noticed, that you do get a little defensive rather easily, when someone disagrees with you views though.

the polls show bustamonte kicking arnold's ass. the media show arnold all the time., including a photo op in new york see jimmy breslin's article

http://www.newsday.com/news/columnists/ny-nybres123411172aug12,0,7072182.column

i always double space for a url. lot of guys here can't draw a straight line with their cursor., or many times walk one.

sometimes i hope he wins, just to prove how stupid people are.

let me give you an example from one of judge wapner's cases. a man suing the owner of a dog for medical attention he required when the man's dog bit him and came at him again. the man struck at the dog with a golf club he was using as a walking stick to protect himself and when he finished with the emergency room, he called the animal shelter, as is required. the dog was picked up and quarantined for 10 days as is required. thwe dog did not develope rabis and was returned to the owner. (i meant rabies but i think i'll leave the rabis in)

the owner's defense was he shouldn't have tried to hit my dog. he shouldn't have had my dog locked up. my dog has never spent a day away from us and we missed him. my son cried. the young son about 7 was to be a witness and he looked like he was ready to cry as soon as he was asked to testify, which he wasn't asked to do.

after the explaination by the judge of the lease law violation and the finding for the plaintiff, they have a little discussion on camera with the two parties. the defendent said, "the judge was wrong. he shouldn't have tried to hit my dog."

that is stupidity at it's basic. extrapolate and you get to conservatism. ie "he lied about not having sex with monica." even after my short and lengthy explainations about the "letter of the law", and the definition of sex in the suit against clinton.

whined or whining are the generic words for posting something the "rabid right" disagree with. i think i coined a new phrase, not to mention ending a sentence with a preposition. in years past, i used to end a lot of sentences with a proposition, but that is a different story.

you asked for some answers. listen for the clicking of heels and a voice saying "there's no place like home. there's no place like home."

you're correct, jdrabinski needs to stop obsessing about it. whatever it was has been resolved.

it's sort of like your wife bringing up a past disagreement that you had both resolved.

Guess who answered this...

How Many Of You Have Smoked Pot?

Everyday for years. They were good years.

I'll give you a guess...it wasn't Arnold! This is EXACTLY what I was talking about!

DMV,

Man, you are STALKING me, aren't you?!?! Yep, I smoked pot everyday from ages 14-19. And they were good years.

I think I get it now. You have 'professor' mixed up with 'monk.'

You also happen to be advancing a strange thesis, that to criticize a person, one must be perfect. God save us if that is the case! But I also don't take a moral high ground about things like reefer and sex, so I don't have the same problems as conservatives. As far as I am concerned, smoke up and sleep with whomever you like...just don't deceive or exploit the other person(s) and I'm fine with it.

So I guess you're flipping on Arnold? I mean, you don't care and it's cool for you?

As a midwesterner and one time weightlifter, I've enjoyed watching Arnold's career. As many of you know, Arnold earned his MBA from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. I think he's a very bright guy, but I haven't a clue about whether he'd be a successful governor. Given the state of California's financial plight, I'm not sure anyone can look good as governor of that state.

If Arnold was a woman chaser twenty-seven years ago, so what! Before my wife and I married, I chased plenty myself...and even caught a few. I did not realize that unmarried people were prohibited from intimate relations.

While there are those who will quote the Commandment against adultery, it must looked at as it was narrowly defined in biblical times...a man having intimate relations with another man's wife. There certainly was no prohibition against a married man having concubines.

Arnold may be a bust as a governor, but to hold him to account for some statements he made 27 years ago, doesn't really hold much water.

If we only elected Saints to public office, D.C. and every state capitol would be pretty nearly vacant.

Come to think of it, that's not a bad idea.

I don't really care if Arnold gets elected to anything, but....why do folks seem to expect that people in public life should be geldings?

I wasn't a Clinton fan but if I was president I can assure you that I'd be getting some in the Oval Office. I doubt if very many presidents haven't.
