OK, VSG is nearly synonymous with Ashton. But, there are other VSG's out there -- some at more modest prices and better availability than the infamous Sorcerer. Anyone have some suggestions for an alternative?

Fuente makes a 858 SG (sun grown) that is an excellent cigar, very different from the regular 858. The only problem is that they is very hard to find. The difference (I believe) is the thickness (toughness) and flavors of the ones grown in the sun vs. the ones grown in the shade ...

I have some fuentes Chateau L I think, that is sun grown, these are very tasty sticks, in fact I had three boxes of this size, the sun grown, the maduro and natural, and I didn't care too much for the others, but like the post on wrappers, the sun grown wrapper makes this one very good, and I think these monster cigars were about $5 each.
