All,

I had my 5 week follow up visit with the doctor today and he was very pleased with my progress. I have lost 61.6 pounds so far and am doing just great. I am experimenting with food several times a week and have found that my stomach can handle most of the food that I try.

My next visit is four weeks away. I'm not sure I can wait that long for a progress update for myself. Weighing myself is the one way that I can really see progress. I may have to go back and get weighed in a couple of weeks.

I am out of clothes already. I will be selling my old clothes on ebay and buying new here shortly. But, I'll only buy a few articles of clothing as I still have a lot of weigh to lose.

I will be posting before and after pics on my one year anniversary date fo the surgery. The doctor's office has the before pic, I forgot to take one.
