The view from my Cigar Bench.

What a beautiful view!! I'm getting "homesick" looking at this pic. I was born and raised in CA. Tim and I also lived in Monterey,CA for 3 yrs. when he was still in the military. We loved taking drives thru "Carmel By The Sea"!!

Yes...we lived @ Fort Ord. Tim was in the Navy and was stationed @ Fleet Numerical Oceanography Center(FNOC) in Monterey. It was GREAT for me living there...I was only an hour and a half from my mother's house in Fremont...that's where I grew up.

OK...Scotty it is. I didn't know what your name was. Now that I know, I WAS gonna make a quote from a famous TV show, but I won't. I'm sure you've heard it a zillion times and are tired of it by now.

Anyway...thanks for the offer. If I think of anything I might want, I'll let you know. When we lived there(Oct88-Oct91),I worked on Cannery Row at a shop called "Sweet Thursday", it was right next to the pub on the corner.
