Hey, what's with the ghostly Cbid icon on some of the item up for bid?
I know this may have been asked already, but I missed it.

Yeah, what's up with that? Kinda spooky.

It is only there to make the pics C-bids property, kind of like a patent symbol. Other sites cant copy the pic and use them on there sites and if they do C-bid will know, then they will sue the site and win and with the winnings they will send all the loyal C-biders a few free primos just to show what a great site this is!

(Disclaimer: I am only posting the upcoming comment as a joke, so don't get on my a$$ people about "beating a dead horse"..LOL) I think the C-Bid ghost image indicated a particular item that is subject to overbidding...LOL

I believe it is to indicate that if this item is purchased, you will become infected with the Cbid virus. Symptoms are, constant checking for new items to bid on that you have never heard of in the hopes they are the best in the world. Impatient waiting for postings on BB that will work other members into a frenzy (We've gotten our fix there haven't we:)). A look of confusion when your credit card bill arrives. The ability to send psychic, subliminal anger and ill will thoughts toward the UPS man for jackin around and not showing up earlier if your stuff (later down the road, his head explodes). Urges to scarf down your meal so you can go and have a newly delivered cigar. And of course the urge to post about the anger and confusion about newbies overbidding. No cure has yet to be found. You have been warned.

Now what a minute. I utilized appropriate terminology. Definition: Lets say, your relaxing, sunnin and funnin, havin some tequila, possibly chasin some females (?) in MEXICO, we can define that as "Jackin around". therefore, to the eagerly awaiting soul who has no visual contact with the UPS guy, it would seem he is in fact hangin out in Mexico drinking and smoking. Hence, an appropriate term. Consider it a compliment.
