I wonder where he draws the line? 50K? 60k? a couple in a major metro can easily consider themselves middle class while the democrats/socalists consider them "wealthy"... Why should the government decide if you’re “wealthy” or not? Why shouln’t ALL be treated fairly??

Everybody buys stuff. Eliminate income tax all together and raise the sales tax. The simplicity of a flat tax, and the rich will put more in because they spend more. The way to get an economy going is to put cash into the hands of the people.

A flat sales tax without reforms would be considered a regressive tax for the less well off regarding basic necessities of life... food, medicine, housing costs, etc.

But reform is needed... we got to start somewhere...
