*laugh* grazie, marla 🙂 and thank you all for your comments and suggestions.
btw, "cavallo" is italian for "knight." so the "horse" in portuguese is kinda close. was a nick from back in my cop days -- kind of the sicilian "knight in shining armor" thing (tho i suspect it was given tongue-in-cheek!). 🙂
i'm very impressed with the folks here on cbid and look forward to hanging around for a long, long time -- at least to give marla plenty of opps to say "antonio." *chuckle*
know what's even more fun to say? ro-buuuuus-to!
and speaking of, what's your favorite size of stick, and what are its qualities?
i tend to like big, thick cee-gars like churchies or presidentes (tho i've only had one of those), but 898s, dub coronas and lonsdales look good too. the one size i was surprised to really like was the robusto, though. looking at one, you'd think it would be over with in 20 minutes -- just a short smoke. but nnnoooOOOoooo! the 2 i've had lasted nearly an hour each! don't know if that's par for the course with robies or if i just had good sticks, but i was pleasantly surprised -- didn't burn quickly, and the flavorfulness was amazing, big chewy mouthfuls of smoke from these babies.
