Okay, I received a ISOM RyJ (very small one, maybe a petit corona) from somebody, maybe not on this board, but it had beetles come out of it. I dissected it, and found larvae in it. I checked the other sticks around it, and they all seem to be fine, but I froze every stick in that humidor to be safe. If you remember sending me this stick, you might want to check your stock and see if it is good or smoke them now. I know ISOM have a higher tendency to get beetle problems since they don't adress this problem as strict as other countries.

For everyone I have sent sticks too, I'm pretty sure that the sticks I have sent are safe because the humidor with the beetle problem was for my smaller sticks which I rarely send out. But please check them carefully just to be safe. I have checked my other six humidors and everything looks safe. I will be monitoring these humis very closely and will report back to the boards.

If you have any questions about any sticks from me, please e-mail me at choner13 at yahoo dot com.

I don't remember who sent me this RyJ, I just know i got it from somebody from a trade or a gift, but it was a bonus stick. Most likely it came from this board. Things like this happen, you just got to roll with the punches. I just don't want anyone else to get this problem.

Choner, could that have come from me? Did you ask me to send you an ISOM when we did our trade? I looked in my Habanos humidor and I don't see any evidence of any beetles. X

X, I'm really not sure who I got it from. I just remember receiving the RyJ as a bonus stick or a gift. I don't think it was you though, unless you have the petite coronas or a smaller size, because it was small. But no biggee, I'm just making sure that no one else gets this problem.
