This is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. According to this, poor poor Saddam was just a victim!? I'm sure America even green lighted him for toture and slayings within his own country. My point is sharing links to sites, or cutting and pasting sources of propaganda whete its coming from the left or the right pisses about half of us off, all of the time!!! That's my key point.

Can we consider refraining from this on both sides?

Relationships are valuable and Lifes to short to waste time on misinformation and half-truths. If you think pissing people off with propaganda and perpetuating flame wars is entertaining then IMHO I have doubts about your sense of values and priorites.

We've had threads containing very interesting debates from all sides of the political spectrum that have been respectful, very lively and entertaining without resorting to flame wars and propaganda, thank you. I guess we disagree on one major point. You think flame wars and propaganda adds to the entertainment value and I think just the opposite plus I think it creates animousity and anger among our community... Example Sylance's post.

To say that Sadam was a victim of the great white Satan is to BE a Sadam supporter and therefore to piss on the graves of the brave men and women who died to free that country and help protect us from people who would have us put asunder... The tripe and half truths listed in this presentation are clear proof that the anti-bush folks are leaders in the “Blame America First” movement.
