Again, I kinda doubt that this is gonna change in the near future. SvenR, I'm sure, has better things to do than making sure people put the world "POLITICAL" in the titles of their threads.

Furthermore, I kinda doubt that they'll add another category for political posts, mainly because they'd have to go though tons of previous posts (in the thousands, no doubt), and flag them for a new board. That takes lots of time, generally has to be done manually, and can be rather tedious. This all costs money.

It's a nice thought, given the amount of political stuff that gets posted, but the logistics involved makes it a little cost-prohibitive. This forum is a nicety that CI/CBID offers, and not a bread-and-butter enterprise.

Personally, I am not delighted that he won the election and there is much that concerns me about him. Nevertheless, I found the action of doing the oath again to ensure that it was done right very reassuring. It is the sort of action that I want my President taking. I was also very impressed by the death stare that he gave Joe Biden when Biden made a joke about the Chief Justice's mess up.

At the very least, it'll keep the whackjobs from filing a bunch of frivolous suits about it or making silly claims that distract and use up attention like that whole birth certificate nonsense.
