Bush haters everywhere are saying that the oil companies are pals with GWB

If they were his pals, wouldn’t they be keeping gasoline prices down in the run-up to his re-election?

This is an example of how hate poisons your brain and stops critical thinking.

Where's the Iraqi oil President Bush stole? That's good for a 50 cent discount!

The Oil that Bush went after, in Iraq, Is still in Iraq. Why?? Because he has 1500 miles of pipeline to protect, to get the oil out of the country. hmmm
Irans oil, is on the coast. Looks like bad judgement to me.

Rick. wouldnt you just hate it if osama were captured before nov 2..
To me that just shows how you put politics ahead of national security

And while we are on the subject. Please tell me just what Kerrys plan is.. what is his platform. What will he do differently. Please tell me . because I havent heard anything from his campaign other than we got to get Bush out because he is a bad man. But I havent heard a game plan. Does he have one?
If all he has is "Bush Bad, Me Good ARRRRR" is he just capitalizing on his Frankenstein good looks?

Bush hasn't stolen any oil. Once again I have to point out that the oil still belongs to Iraq, Iraq still belongs to OPEC, and OPEC still cotrols price via production. Geez! Some people are so simple minded that they would rather assume the worst than consider a modicum of logic! So I guess oil WASN'T the reason for the war! What do you suppose was???? Ya think the WMD WAS wthe reason after all? OH WAIT, they didn't find any! So I guess all those Iranians, Kurds, and Shias were killed by a fabrication of the Bush Administration! Many even before Bush 41 took office! Ithink it's time to turn the tables on those who said that the situation wasn't urgent enough to go to war over, and lay the blame where it needs to go. We went in too late!!! The damn things were already moved because we debated over it too long!

Thank you c-dub. As a fellow military man maybe you can agree with me on this point though: Why in the hell are we spending OUR money to rebuild Iraq? I will tell you why. Because of all the repercussions Bush would hear if he tapped those wells and started selling Iraqi oil to rebuild Iraq. People wouldn't see the fact that the money was being spent IN Iraq, they would just see that the wells were tapped and "Bush" was selling the oil. People would point and go "SEE? We told you he was after the oil". So it is easier to spend OUR friggin' tax dollars to do it. GW needs to grow a nutsack on this one and do what is right for us. Use THEIR money to rebuild THEIR country. Screw what people think.

MACS, I'm past what people will think. If you read the posts on here you will find that if Bush does one thing the liberals gripe, and if he does the opposite they just gripe about that! The main reason we're spending the money is to try and establish a viable democracy in the region. If the Arabs see what is possible under a freely elected government, they will be less interested in a theocracy, or a dictatorship. The only democracy in the region is Israel, and they won't buy any example set by the Jews, probably because they are too similar, both being Semitic, and that is perhaps the supreme irony!

My point is this: Whatever we are doing there (and I knew we were setting up a democracy, among other things) let's do it with THEIR money.

We probably will as soon as we can get the darn fools to stop blowing up their own pipelines!
