......ok.......that was impressive.

see, my beef with him right now is, for the most part, Iraq, not the economy. The economical issues were in the first 2 years, but, I have to say, things are coming around....and Mr. Greenspan didn't need to tell me that.

Good post.

The sky was falling. Blood in the streets. We're not safe anywhere!

Some people like to complain that Bush was mislead by faulty intel when he invaded Iraq. Let me point out ONCE AGAIN that Clinton, Gore, Kerry, Daschle, and many others throwing stones were saying for years that Iraq needed to be resolved. Clinton gutted the intel services over 8 years, what did we expect? If he had been discussing Iraq even before 9/11, why shouldn't he have? Anyone who wasn't under a rock for the past twelve years would know that it was inevitable, given Saddams intractability!
I think the economy was headed south long before Bush took office. Do you think that the execs at Enron, Worldcom, and the rest just started since 2000? They could never caused such a debacle in two years! They had been doing their monkey business for YEARS! They got caught cooking the books on Bush's watch! That's like blaming a cop for a bank robbery when he catches the robbers! Wake up and smell the coffee!
