I'm a District Sales Manager for Brown & Williamson Tobacco. Unfortunately we don't manufacture cigars!!

My company is in the process of being acquired by RJ Reynolds, looks as though my 20 years in the business will end soon. Time to be looking for a new job!!

Anyone hiring? 🙂

I have stock with my parent company...British American Tobacco (BAT is selling their B&W unit, which is their US company). Hope it goes up after FTC approval.

I'm holding my shares until I need the cash.

My dad worked at Liggett and Meyers in the 1950's in St. Louis. A big room full of steel desks, a big spitoon next to each one, and a guy whose only job was to continuously empty them in a never ending circle. Sounded like a Poe short story to me.

I'll have to go dig up my old school stuff. All that I can remember was that I took Calc 1 from this professor that was a child prodigy. He received his doctorate when he was 18 years old. All he did was bitch and tell us that we shouldn't pass up the opportunity to party in college (like I needed to be told that ;-} I was also in this crazy combined honors English & history class (it was worth 9 credit hours). I'll see if I can drum up any of my old stuff. Hell, it’s been 20 years...

Sorry for hijacking the thread…
