My mother-in-law took my son today. He LOVED it. She said it wasn't as good as the original. But hey, she's an old lady. (If I want her to know I said that, I'll tell her myself.)

Just got back from seeing it with my kids and wife. Great movie! I am still trying to decide if it was as good as the first. Leaning towards saying it was just a notch below the original but the original is hard to beat. Fantastic sequel. Some great comedy lines. Puss in Boots was great.

I didn't see the first one but saw Shrek 2 with the family tonight. I thought it was well done and the comedy was quite good and got more than one outburst of laughter out of me. Funny and I'll have to see the first one we have on video laying around here somewhere.

I thought the movie was great... My whole family loved it. Good humor with a couple of excellent underlying themes.
