I tend to like more medium-full bodied cigars (LGCs, Ults, LLMF) but like something more mellow from time to time. Recently tried a few cheapies from Cbid and found them fairly decent - "Genuines" from R. Reyes, Dominican La Coronas, Don Lino colorados, and flor de florez. All were in the buck-a-stick range and have been quite nice for a change of pace smoke...........Does anyone have any other "cheapie" suggestions for this low budget smoker? Thanks in advance!

Quintero. On the medium side. Very nice, smooth, Hondoran tobacco. Rediculously cheap if you look around (under $2 per stick).

Don Juan Platinum well made mild to medium bodied cigar. You can get them for under $1. Charlie

Best of cheapies would be LaLuna LHB, spicy and robust and works out to around a buck per smoke! You can order them right out of CI catalog for less or the same amount than they go for on bid board! Charlie

Uhhh yeah. The Ancla y Cazador, and Caleyes are awsome, as well as the Espinosas, and the Don Linos Hopefully, noone will outbid me for these as they are Primo sticks!!! Mayorga robustos, G.C.C., and the Biarritz coffee breaks, are horrible. Patooey, ACKK. Don't spend a nickel on them.

Thanks for the input everyone. Delarob, trying to steer me adrift, eh? By the way, I see you like the GCC's. Have you tried the "Pre-embargo" GCC's (also made by Perdomo)? Not square-pressed and a bit fuller-bodied than the GCC's - nice sumatra wrapper. And, no need to worry, I have plenty of Mayorgas! And I actually like the Colorados by Don Lino. To each his own! Thanks again everyone.

I agree with Rick on the Evelio. I agree with you on the Flor de Florez. Another would be the Don Kiki 2000.

The Pre-Embargo GCC's are one of the best smokes I've had. The La Fincas and Maria Mancini's are also good smokes for the price!!! La Gloria Cubana also!!! John

It's only 6:45am here and I've already heard good things about the Pre-em GCC from two different people. Guess I'll have to try em out.

The Indian Tabac "mistakes" bundles are well worth the price. I've bought two on CB so far!

(medium-full bodied) Poderozo Robustos (usually spelled/listed incorrectly as "Poderoza")

(mild-medium bodied) Biarritz Coffee Breaks

(full-bodied) JR Alternatives to the Cuban Cohiba Robusto (not like the cigar it claims to be like, but a great cheap smoke nonetheless.

Have to agree with the GCCC's and the Don Kiki's. Both good smokes.

If your looking for mild to medium the ashcforte bundles are actually pretty darn good, I'll agree with the Indian Tabac Mistakes also.
