This may sound silly but I was thinking about breaking apart my samplers for storage....

Do you think this is necessary or is it a wasted step...

Think of the DPG black and blue or DPG Blendmaster samplers....should these be seperated for long term storage or should they be left together...

Any thoughts???

They absolutely need to be separated.

^If you don't have flavored sticks in there, you're just creating more work for yourself with no positive or negative affect. I mean, aren't cigars for relaxing? Go figure!

You've got to at least separate by natural vs maduro. The best way to go to keep the flavors pure is a separate humidor per cigar blend.

I am just a noob, but I would say an economical solution is to make a coolerdor and store simular sticks in sepeate cigar boxes leaving them in their individual celophanes.

Then you have to worry about the different grades of cedar used to make the boxes....or even worse...cardboard boxes.

It is going to be a long time until I'm back out there. I almost got tied up with a huge gig out there but instead I'm tied up for 3 years on the east coast and in Europe.

I'll miss that elite cigar lounge you guys have there! The thing I didn't do during that trip was a double-double at In-N-Out. Filled up on lumpia instead.
