i'm not leaving the boards, but i must not forget to thank all the people that post in response to my ramblings.

it doesn't matter whether you are in agreement with me or not, it's always nice to hear from any and everyone.

i try to mix it up with some humor when i can, and i laugh at all the jokes made about me, good or bad.

i am a very private person. i do not have anyone stop at the house unexpectedly. the people that i like to chat with always call ahead and we find a day and time to get together. something to look forward to on both our parts.

i am lucky i can take part in almost any discussion and take either side and hold my own, which is difficult when i know i don't agree with what i am saying or typing, but i like a lively discussion, and you guys do keep it lively.

the floor is a little further away when i drop something and have to pick it up, and things are a little heavier then they used to be, but the synapses are faster then ever, and i do owe that to both friend and foe on these boards.

this is not a farewell speech, i just wanted to say thanks.

As I have stated before Rick, you are my favorite foil on this board. I DO think you cross the line of good taste and decorum occaisionally, but you generally make me think out my responses. I enjoy your pics of birds (you rascal, you've made me want another!) and your generosity to myself and Liz will not be forgotten!

I think what Rick was trying to say is that his tongue was buried deep in his cheek as he typed his new thread. Michael Moore is apolitical, too.
