I dont know if this subject has been discussed before, so if it has then forgive me. I was wondering what you guys use to cut your cigars. V-cutter? double blade?
teeth? I have an old Pleiades double blade that I had been using for the last five years, but it has finally been retired, as I won a Xikar cutter and it is coming this week. So anyway, what do you guys use?

xikar double blade, of course! If I don't have one and really have the "shakes" bite it or use a golf tee to poke the cap! Charlie

I usually stick the end in a drawer or the refrigerator and then shut the drawer/door really fast. Note when on the road a car door works just as well.

I use an Xikar and it's amazing. I also like to get drunk people to stick their fingers in there too, the blood washes clean very easily.

Xikar that I just got for xmas, excellent cutter. Before that I used cheap double cutters, which worked just fine. I have a bullet which I occasionally use on coronas and a cheap V-cutter that I've used twice.

I think this threat is mislabeled. It should say 'eat me' instead of 'cut me'.

When I am in the shop I use a band saw or a chop saw. cj

Rookie recommended the Xicar a while back and I haven't looked back. A great dependable cigar cutter that can be had for $30-$70!

I have three Xikars now (the original, and two Xikar3s (both the redwood and the rubber)...I really like them a lot!..I have to day I am extremely impressed with the Palio also!..I use Jack's (Jcrimmins) whenever we herf and it is flawless!..Occasionally it seems as if the Xikar will grab a bit, but only on a rare occasion...Xikar has impressed me with their lifetime guarantee policy!...I recently sent them my original Xikar that I had for FOUR years and the button to open it broke off...They sent me a nice letter apologizing along with a NEW Xikar, and several nice gifts including a Xikar lapel pin (very sharp!) and a ceramic Xikar mug!...I am a lifetime customer now...C-Bid, if this violates the TOS on this site, please feel free to delete or XXXXX out whatever you need to...I recommend that all of you bid on the Xikars here at Cigarbid or buy one (or several) at Cigars International...LOL...Keith

$30-$70 say what, would rather buy a doulble blade cutter for $5 and spend the money on cigars, and i found a $10 that has lasted longer than the $30-$60 lighters my friends have bought.

Ceracut is a cutter that uses a ceramic blade. Very light, rubberized body, will never dull. So good so far.
