He's been on a few of West Coast choppers shows with Jessie James and a crew heading to Sturgis... best show I seen... he's doing his famious Seat Stand on the highway heading out...

Yup...he also won the first chopper buildoff. He was building bikes way before it became mainstream. I personally liked his bikes and style much more than the modern sleak builders.

Whoa. I only know him from what I saw on T.V. and he seemed like a very knowledgable, cool, and talented fellow, albeit a little freaky lookin'.

I say do not let his death be in vain; please wear you helmet and riding gear whenever you ride.

Loved his old school ways. He knew every aspect of bike building.

Yup...know a few guys that meet him a number of times at bike shows. They said he was extremely friendly and laid back, even lifted up the ropes and invited them into his area and said pull up a seat and talk for a while.

Agreed, he made some awesome (old school) bikes. He'll be missed.

Thats ashame. I met him in Laconia this past June
He would talk about bikes to anyone that came up and shook his hand.
He had most of his bikes there with him and up close you could see his real talent. even if your not fond of choppers you had to admire his work

wow, 1st i heard of this. i own custom paint works, a paint and fabrication shop specializing in motorcycles. alot of the kind of stuff you see on those build off shows, as well as american chopper takes place in my shop. i used larry and some others as inspiration through early years, and tried to follow his builds as best i could. the man had some really cool ideas. this is a sad day in the world of motorcycle enthusiasts.

More than likely it would have.

Wow! What a drag. He was by far the classiest competitor in the Great Biker Build Off Series. Always gave the breaks to his opponents and even assisted when they were having trouble with their bikes.

Saw him do the stunt that ended up killing him on the show. Definitely a loss to the Bike world.
