Bin Laden or the Tiger?

NEW ORLEANS, La. (Reuters) - A massive search is underway at Fort Polk military base in western Louisiana for a Bengal tiger running loose in the base's pine-covered hills.

Military spokesmen said on Wednesday a team of 100 soldiers, trackers, trappers and police officers using military helicopters and armed with tranquilizer darts had fanned out across the 198,000-acre base in search of the animal.

The tiger is wearing a collar. How it got on the base is a mystery, said Fort Polk spokesman Maj. Ron Elliott. "We think it belongs to somebody," he said.
The tiger was first spotted on Friday and has been seen at least seven times since, he said.

Capt. Karla Fees, located at a command post for the search, said the hope is to tranquilize and capture the tiger. "We're doing everything we can to spot it, to find out where he's at so we can get to him and tranquilize him," she said. "We're advising the local population to be extremely diligent. Don't go wandering out in the woods or anything like that on your own," Elliott said.

The tiger will be found within a week.

Bin Laden is "scheduled" to be found during the third week of October.

(Relax people, I'm kidding about Bin Laden! It is the fourth week of October.)

Living within 12 miles of Fort Polk, I can assure that the Tiger has been found with Bin laden in its mouth.

I just hope they do not have to kill the tiger! Tranq him and take him alive, as far as binLaden, I hope they wound him badly (shoot him in groin area, as in Pulp Ficton)and take him prisioner!
