I wouldn't call what Mickelson did today a "choke" as much as just another example of his "brio" when it comes to taking chances on the golf course! There was no way that he could have pulled that shot off, yet he goes for it!!!! Maybe next time, who knows? Braves are going to have a tough time in the NL East this year and adding Gary "Crybaby" Sheffield to their lineup will not help them at all! He is not worth the trouble he causes whining and crying all the time. Charlie

Correct about Phil. I know he is great but.... You have a hold on the lead and take that kind of a chance. If he pulls it off, he might make birdie and when he missed it's all gone.
I went in with severl friends and bought tickets to the Bravos this year and I hape they can pull this mass of pieces into a team. Lot depends on the bottom of the rotation and if Furcal and Giles play like they can.

As seemingly stupid as Mickelsons shot appeared, it's my understanding that he didn't really have another way out. The anouncer said his perpendicular exit was blocked, leaving only the option to "back out" towards the tee or taking that wing and a prayer shot into the drink. Fact is, with less slice the ball lands onto the green (although probably rolls up and over).
