My buddy received a toilet seat (gag gift?) as a Christmas gift from his "dad" when he was a teen. His well-to-do father had recently divorced his mother leaving the family of eight to subsist on welfare and his funny sense of humor.

I've never really received a "bad" gift- been blessed that way. Welllllll, maybe socks & underwear when I was a kid. Never understood the need for more than a couple pairs of each--that's why you turned 'em inside out, right? LOL
