Coup de Torchon, from my VideoHounds, Golden Movie Retriever, Set in 1938 French W. Africa won 1982 Academy Award for Best Foreign Film! I have never seen it and had completely forgotten about this movie! It was based on a novel "Pop 1280" by Jim Thompson. Charlie
